Richie Rich joined The Ice Capades at age 18 and has captured the spotlight ever since. He went from the ice to the nightclubs and became known as a leading “club kid”. While many others turned to drugs, Richie saw the club world as a launching pad to bigger dreams. He became a recording artist and one half of the renowned design team behind flashy fashion label Heatherette. Richie has styled a bevy of celebrity friends from Paris Hilton to Gwen Stefani and appears frequently on TV on shows such as America’s Next Top Model and Project Runway. He is now launching a highly anticipated solo fashion line, another with Pamela Anderson, and his own line of nail polish. Richie has weaved his unique personal brand into endless opportunities and that is why I’m Obsessed with Richie Rich.

That was fun fun fun! Richie Rich is delightful. Just the other day I was thinking how much I miss having a gay friend (since leaving Utah)…I’m good now.

That was really fun to watch! Richie Rich is delightful. Samantha your show is so great and of course I love everything @garyvee talks about…how can you NOT admire a guy who tweets about how much he loves his wife? We need to clone him.
Looking forward to watching all your shows Samantha!

I had the chance of meeting Richie at an upstate club a few months before his show at the waldorf. We had a good time. I was working the door at the one gay club up here. He invited me to his show. I had a blast. I didn’t know how famous he was, even meeting for a drink an txt on the phone until the show at the Waldorf. When I walked into a club with Pam Anderson An Richie. Was a Nite I will never forget. He has gotten my very intrested in fashion. And gave me a slice of fun I will never forget.
Love You HONEY!

I saw him at gay day at Six Flags in New Jersey quite a few years ago, we were on the same roller coaster, Rolling Thunder. I wish I had said hello, but I didn’t want to be a pest.

I can’t believe I only now have seen this interview! I’ve loved Richie Rich ever since I found out about him but this interview made me gain so much more respect for him. He knows where his heads at and knows exactly what he wants, he lives in the moment and always keep happy thoughts. Like someone else mentioned there are a few cliches about him but has enough heart and kindness to overshadow those traits! I am far from a fashion designer but his adventure of a career has encouraged and inspired me to make some of my own fun clothing designs where I load a top up with hundreds of feathers that lace up with ribbon or wooden letters that hang off of a bright top. I hope one day I get to meet him and even request a specially made outfit no matter what the cost! LOVE RICHIE
