$5,000, a dream, and the drive to make it happen was what it took Tory Johnson to launch Women For Hire, which has served hundreds of thousands of women seeking high caliber jobs. Tory is Good Morning America’s workplace contributor, the anchor of Home Work on ABC News Now and the author of four books including the bestseller, Will Work From Home: Earn Cash Without the Commute. She is an inspiring entrepreneur who helps women find jobs and ascend once in them and that is why I am Obsessed with Tory Johnson.

Liked the show. Enjoyed the discussion near the end about the economy. We are here smack dab in the middle of the country and the thoughts about the economy are not as bad here as other places. Yes, more layoffs, but the economy will grow. Company’s need talent to thrive! I agree, Tory.

There definitely is a big pool of talent out there. I wouldn’t say there is A+ talent, but more like lots of B to B+s.
This interview was nice since it had so much substance.

Hey guys,
Great interview. I think you guys are right about one thing, entrepreneurs and small businesses will continue to fuel the economy.
Tory, my story is sort of like yours. I was laid off in October and found myself Freelancing, something I wanted to do for many years, but never had the guts to do. So once I got that kick, I knew I could do this for life. This is what I was supposed to do.
Continue the good work.

Tory Johnson seems to truly care about other women and helping them, and her previous experiences most likely got her to that point. Women focused career fairs is a fantastic idea.. how lucky are all the women who benefit that Tory took the opportunity to start Women for Hire. Women who have an idea and want to be an entrepreneur should follow their dream and work hard to make it successful. Enjoyed the ending segment with Samantha inviting Gary’s spirited contribution as well!

I think the interview was great. Solid advice and information that is usable. I agree that entreprenueurs and small biz leaders will keep the marketplace going. The key right now is to continue to think “big” but act small by staying closer to the biz than ever and closer to employees and clients.

Great interview, Samantha. Troy is so right, ask for help when the time is good enough and do not wait for the perfect moment (you might be waiting a while). That’s awesome, Great advise!
And all of you (Samantha, Gary and Troy)are so right, small entrepreneurs/business will bring the economy back. Cheers for another inspiring interview!!!
