Gloria Feldt’s rise from teen motherhood to the helm of Planned Parenthood Federation of America from 1996-2005 earned her Vanity Fair’s recognition as one of America’s “top 200 women legends, leaders, and trailblazers” and a “Woman of the Year” award from Glamour. Along with actress Kathleen Turner, she wrote her third book, the New York Times best seller, Send Yourself Roses. She is a trailblazer who overcame the most unlikely circumstances to become a leader and that is why I am Obsessed with Gloria Feldt.

Gloria is a hypocrite!

I have problems with this woman that I can’t even put into a comment. For all her activist rhetoric, she is small minded and can’t appreciate that “planned parenthood” can mean something different than what she’s promoting. For all her talk about providing opportunities, she doesn’t think in an innovative, multifaceted way that really understands the other side. However, I do appreciate anyone with passion and the fact that she’s been able to create a life for herself…

Great interview! Samantha does a nice job. Very relaxed style and easy to watch. 30 minutes just flew by.
My only concern is that neither Samantha nor Gloria seem to have any understanding of why the Church cannot under any circumstance promote the use of artificial contraception.
They should have skipped this topic if they weren’t prepared to do some background.
