As a founding father of social media, Lockhart Steele was at the forefront of the blogosphere. After beginning his career in print media at Hamptons Cottages & Gardens, Lockhart launched his new media and entrepreneurial careers together by simultaneously becoming managing director of Gawker and launching his own site, Curbed.com. Now a full-time entrepreneur, Lockhart runs a collection of the most buzzed about real estate, restaurant and retail blogs on the internet. He is a passionate visionary who loves his product and that is why I’m Obsessed with Lockhart Steele.

Cool interview, Samantha! I wasn’t too familiar with him before. But love how he continues to evolve, which is a mark of someone who is successful-very inspiring. And, now, I have some sites to visit, too.
Thanks!!!

Great interview. I like how he’s ambitious but really takes the time to think about his business model, not expanding too quickly - yet staying progressive.
