Dr. Gail Saltz first landed her psychiatric practice on the TODAY show couch as the Health, Sex and Relationships contributor in 2001 where she now hosts a weekly “on the couch” segment in addition to providing expert content. Gail is an Associate Professor of Psychiatry at the New York Presbyterian Hospital Weill-Cornell School of Medicine and is the best selling author of five books including her most recent The Ripple Effect: How Better Sex Can Lead to a Better Life. Early on in her career Gail recognized that she could take a New York based private psychiatric practice and make it a platform for on air, on line and writing success and that is why I’m Obsessed with Dr. Gail Saltz.

Cool interview, Samantha! I have really liked Dr. Saltz since reading her book, Becoming Real, and listening to her on the Dr. Oz show (on XM radio). Great, simple advise: “do what excites you.”
