The day Bonnie Fuller set her sights on bringing European celebrity tabloids to the U.S. market, the magazine racks of America were forever altered. Already a publishing wunderkind having chiefed Glamour, Cosmopolitan, Marie Claire, YM, and FLARE starting at age 26, Bonnie became a genre creating machine when she took the helm of US Weekly. Legendary for her drive and commitment, this mother of four shocked media watchers when she left US for American Media, overseeing Star, Shape, Men’s Fitness, Natural Health, and Fit Pregnancy. She single-handedly transformed an industry and that is why I’m Obsessed with Bonnie Fuller.

Thanks Samantha, lovely interview with Bonnie Fuller. She’s such a fascinating woman. Love the fact that she nutures her employees that are passionate about their work and willing to work hard, hence all the editors-in-chiefs that once worked for her. Loved how she admitted that it’s “impossible to balance… being flexible…not to get upset when the routine is disrupted” that is so important. Just goes to show that to be successful in life, we must continue to evolve. And she is doing just that, so inspiring.

Great interview, I’m new to watching Obssesed, heard about it through GV, when will it be on iTunes? I see the iTunes link, but it doesn’t work.

Literally - this will be me in about 5 years.
I am a publisher and senior editor of http://www.anevibe.com, I live in Canada and one of my chief mandates is to mentor those who are part of A ‘n’ E Vibe. Great to see other women like Bonnie Fuller have the same philosophy.
Great job Samantha!
