It’s entirely possible that the rapid evolution and wide range of baby names that can be heard in playgrounds across America stem from the work of Pamela Redmond Satran. The co-writer of 9 best selling baby books including The Baby Name Bible and Cool Names for Babies, she helped turn baby naming into a branding obsession for expecting parents and that is why I am Obsessed with Pamela Redmond Satran.

My daughter’s name is Talia. I love the name, but didn’t realize just how difficult it would be for people to pronounce. I just say - “same as Talia Shire”
Great topic, great show!

Lovely interview. Got me thinking of names and their meanings. Thanks Samantha.
