Samantha Ettus interviews baby naming expert Pamela Redmond Satran

It’s entirely possible that the rapid evolution and wide range of baby names that can be heard in playgrounds across America stem from the work of Pamela Redmond Satran.  The co-writer of 9 best selling baby books including The Baby Name Bible and Cool Names for Babies, she helped turn baby naming into a branding obsession for expecting parents and that is why I am Obsessed with Pamela Redmond Satran.

My daughter’s name is Talia. I love the name, but didn’t realize just how difficult it would be for people to pronounce. I just say - “same as Talia Shire” :-) Great topic, great show!

Lovely interview. Got me thinking of names and their meanings. Thanks Samantha. :)
