Great show! I am a guy so I am not super interested in the bag, but I love her story. Will have to look into that wine. Thats my price point!! LOL

What’s up with all the background noise? It was very annoying. To me, it took away from the interview. I can get why you don’t edit, although I did see some cuts, but the behind-the-scene noise needs to go. Other than that - a solid show.

I really enjoyed watching this interview of Lauren Merkin! It’s so inspiring that someone with a business background can make it big in the design part of the fashion industry. Her clutches are a must-have!

I’m revamping my own leather handbag design business and needed inspiration. I found it in your interview with Lauren Merkin! I have a business background but found local success in my handbag biz. You asked some great questions and her responses were realistic. From the outside, people think fashion is all glamour but the design is only a small portion. There are a lot of talented designers but to truly “make it” you have to have business acumen.

I love Lauren Merkin bags! I have about 10 of them and always get compliments. Picking out a clutch to match my wardrobe is my favorite thing to do before heading out for the night. I have introduced the bags to all of my friends and they love them as well. This interview was also great. It’s so refreshing to see how normal Lauren is! Designers these days can be a nightmare and she appears to be lovely - which gives me a great excuse to keep buying!
